Dr. Tijunelis graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1993 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He received his Medical Degree from Rush Medical College of Chicago, Illinois and trained to be an Emergency Physician at the University of Southern California. In 2010 he moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan to pursue a career in Ophthalmology at the University of Michigan. He completed his Residency Training in Ophthalmology and a Fellowship in Medical Innovation at the Kellogg Eye Center. Dr Tijunelis is a comprehensive Ophthalmologist with an extensive background and expertise in management of Cataracts, Glaucoma, Diabetic Eye Care and Injections for Macular Degeneration.
