Martin Patrias, M.D.
Dr. Patrias is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed his specialty training in Ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute of Wayne State University, Detroit. Dr. Patrias is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Patrias had advanced training in cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid surgery.
Michael Chames, M.D.
Dr. Chames is a graduate of Wayne State University Medical School. He completed his Ophthalmology training at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Marius Tijunelis, M.D.
Dr. Tijunelis graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1993 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He received his Medical Degree from Rush Medical College of Chicago, Illinois and trained to be an Emergency Physician at the University of Southern California. In 2010 he moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan to pursue a career in Ophthalmology at the University of Michigan. He completed his Residency Training in Ophthalmology and a Fellowship in Medical Innovation at the Kellogg Eye Center. Dr. Tijunelis is a comprehensive board-certified Ophthalmologist with an extensive background and expertise in the management of Cataracts, Glaucoma, Diabetic Eye Care, and Injections for Macular Degeneration.
Gilbert Blanks, O.D.
Dr. Blanks graduated from Illinois College of Optometry and completed his internship at the Illinois Eye Institute. He is Board Certified by the National Board of Optometry and has a Masters Degree in Health Service Administration.
He also has an additional Master’s degree in Clinical Vision Research, with research in specialty contact lenses for keratoconus.
Allison Bissot, O.D.
Dr. Bissot received her Doctorate of Optometry from Ferris State University. She is Board Certified by the National Board of Optometry.
Nicole Sparks, O.D.
Dr. Sparks grew up in Jackson and attended Ferris State University for her undergraduate work. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry. She enjoys many aspects of optometry, including pediatrics, contact lenses, and disease. Dr. Sparks enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
